Definition of Community Roles

Administration Staff

  • The following are formal definitions for the roles you'll encounter in the Elevation Gaming Community. The standard expectations are listed, but do not include "every" aspect of the roles' tasks and duties. 

Administrator

Administrators are the cornerstone of the community. The current expectations of the Administrators are:

  • Administration of the Community - As a whole, the everyday Administration and moderation of the live server(s) and community assets are handled by the Administrators.
  • Community Meetings - Administrators will organized all community meetings when/if required.
  • Mediation Requests - Administrators will put their opinions forward on Mediation Requests and Tickets - they will also organize and sit down with the parties involved if Moderators haven’t handled it. The final decision will be discussed between the Moderation teams before a final determination is made.
  • Community Appeals - Administrators will put their opinions forward when an appeal (ban or otherwise) is received. They will also organized a meeting with the party involved if appropriate. The final decision will be discussed between the Moderation teams before a final determination is made.
  • Developer Communication - The Administrators are in constant contact with the Developers on all features being implemented and worked on or when concerns are raised. They have the direct responsibility in making sure everyone is on the same page in terms of development. 
  • Character Request Decisions - Administrators will make a determination when a Character Request is filed, whether it’s approved or declined. The request will then be finalized by Developers.
  • Initiate/Involved in Discussion - Administrators are encouraged to initiate and be involved in discussions with the rest of the Moderation teams, Developers and the community as a whole. 

Junior Administrator

Junior Administrator are the bridge between the community and the Administration Staff. The current expectations of Junior Administrator are:

  • Mediation Requests - Junior Administrator are asked to put their opinions forward when Mediation Requests and Tickets are received. They are also expected to organize a sit down with the parties involved if appropriate.
  • Public Server Moderation - The public server is a Junior Administrator primary focus - they are the first contact for anyone from public and are also the Junior Administrator on the public server itself. This includes monitoring, kicking, banning, recommending, and assisting with anything on the public server.
  • Community Appeals - Junior Administrator are asked to put their opinions forward when any sort of appeal is received.
  • Initiate/Involved in Discussion - Junior Administrator are encouraged to initiate and be involved in discussions with the Administration Staff and Developers as much as possible.

Community Friend

Community Friends are here to support the community as a whole. They are not actively engaged in everyday roleplay - but they serve the simple functions of community outreach, assistance in all types of matters and a generalized morality boost to the Elevation Gaming members.

Member

Public members are the commoners of the Elevation Gaming community. They come around and engage as they wish and provide an enjoyable experience to the roleplay on days their permitted on the game servers.
